Due to the forecast of extreme weather events, the airline had cancelled three international flights on the Miami to Port of Spain and Port of Spain to New York routes. It also cancelled seven airbridge flights on Wednesday, with the exception of two flights from Port of Spain at 4 pm and Crown Point at 9.15 pm.
"We will keep urging travellers to sign up for real-time flight notifications and updates and to use the Flight Status link of the CAL website to monitor the status of their flights," said the airline.
The airline has advised passengers to watch for new timings, as the departure of regional flights to and from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and St. Maarten has been changed."Caribbean Airlines reached out to the impacted passengers who have been and continue to be re-accommodated on the next available services. Prior to the rescheduling due to the tropical storm alert," said an airline spokesperson
