A user named Femie Dori Balam wrote, "Charge the parent how can a parent or guardian not know this is happening or was it because of money they allowed it to happen for so many yrs, at some age(18) the victim could have known and report why to endure for more yrs. They need to charge everyone, even the parents/guardian,". Another user named Linda Augustine wrote, "A lot of big-timers do this to lots of teenagers, but they give them money to shut their mouth; it's not only men doing this. There are women who do that with teenage boys, and they have top jobs. They know who they are,".  A user named Colette Kase stated that she is proud that the girl finally spoke up, "I'm very proud that this young woman has finally been able to come forward after having been groomed and raped as a child. It's tragic but obvious from the comments here why most girls and women never feel safe enough to report,". "You all have family members, colleagues, and members of your community who have been raped or sexually assaulted, but you'll never know, and the rapist will keep on raping because of this victim-blaming culture," wrote Kase.
