People of Indian Kashmir awaits for a normal life

People are still far away from normal life in Kashmir as its 81st consecutive day on Thursday with shut down of main markets and public transport off the road.
The business establishments were shut across the valley, even some shops opened for limited hours early on Thursday morning in rare areas, but downed their shutter around 11 am, the official said. Restrictions were lifted in most areas of the valley, but the deployment of security forces continued to maintain law and orders, they added.
Some private transport, auto-rickshaws, and a few inter-district cabs were seen practicing in few areas of the Kashmir, sources added. While the other public transports were off the road.
Schools and colleges were open but students stayed away as parents continued to keep their wards at home due to some safety concerns. Internet services were snapped along with mobile and landline telephones services. However, the landline services were restored first, the postpaid mobile services restored only the previous week. The prepaid services continued to remain banded
