PM Roosevelt Skerrit delivers keynote lecture at World Maritime University Regional Conference
Dr Roosevelt Skerrit- Prime Minister of Dominica, made the keynote lecture at the World Maritime University Regional Conference on Monday.

The conference is being hosted at the Jungle Bay Resort & & Spa in Soufriere from 4 April to 7 April.
Climate Change and Small Island Developing States,' 'Blue and Green Economic Responses,' 'Socio-economic Assessments of Marine Plastic Pollution,' and 'Sustainable Solutions for the Future, among other topics, will be discussed at the regional conference.

"Within the context of our climate resilience measures, I welcomed the focus on the conservation of our oceans and the need to conserve the profusion of life within them to ensure the socio-economic well-being of future generations," Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.Dr. Cleopatra Doumbia- Henry, President of the World Maritime University, led the conference. Dr Henry is a famous Dominican who previously worked at the International Labour Organization in various management roles (ILO).
