Dominica signs MOU on Reciprocal Recognition with India
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit received a courtesy call from Arun Kumar Sahu- High Commissioner of India to the Commonwealth of Dominica, on Friday morning.

The Indian High Commissioner and his delegation are in Dominica for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment for the Mutual Recognition of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates.Ambassador Sahu stated that he had a wonderful interaction with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.The MOU on Reciprocal Recognition of COVID-19 was signed on Friday between the High Commissioner Sahu and Dominica Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment Dr Irving McIntyre.Had a wonderful interaction with Hon’ble Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Dominica @IndiainTandT @MEAIndia @IndianDiplomacy pic.twitter.com/WucUzbQ4YM

Dr Sahu Tweeted the signing ceremony photos and wrote,"Signed with Commonwealth of Dominica an MOU on Reciprocal Recognition of Covid Vaccination Certificate,". During the delegation visit, the Indian High Commissioner also met Cassani Laville, Minister for Public Works and the Digital Economy of the Commonwealth of Dominica and had a productive conversation. Dominica has also launched digital COVID-19 vaccination cards that include a QR Code for better scanning. These digital cards would be helpful for people travelling internationally with vaccine proof. The cards can be downloaded from VAX.DOMINICA.GOV.DM .
