He said, “I'm proud to announce that Winair is resuming operations direct from Sint Marteen to Nevis on March 15th. So that is within the next two weeks, we expect to welcome the airline back.”
He explained that the airline had pulled out of Nevis largely because of low traffic and added, “We feel now, four years later, that we are in a much better position and that our people have been sensitized to the need to use the service.”
Premier Brantley also said that the introductory rates will be extremely low, and the idea there is to encourage traffic.
