St Kitts and Nevis vaccinate 70% population with first jab

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts & Nevis continue to lead the independent OECS Nations of the Caribbean in the Application of the COVID-19 vaccine, Ministry of Health St Kitts and Nevis notified.  Ministry of Health St Kitts and Nevis notified that 70% of the population vaccinated with first doses of vaccine, and 57.8% of the population have fully vaccinated in the two-island nation.  According to the latest statistics of 13th July 2021, SKN has administered 32,585 in St Kitts, and 9,665 people get vaccines in Nevis; so far, with this total, people vaccinated is 42,250 & 19 ,119. Notably, In the last 24 hrs, 2 New Confirmed cases of coronavirus have reported.  Also, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis gives some vital points to people for surviving in midset of COVID-19, and those points are following :  -Widespread vaccination against the deadly virus. -Strict observance of and adherence to established COVID-19 protocols. - Discovering new and innovative ways that would allow for the completion of tasks while at the same time decreasing the risk of transmission of the virus.  -Avoid crowds as much as people can. -A renewed and enhanced sense of personal responsibility for life and livelihood should motivate us to do the right thing. He also emphasised that fight against coronavirus must be a shared responsibility between the government and the people. Additionally, Prime Minister Harris reiterates that vaccination is the most powerful tool in our arsenal against COVID-19 and its variant.  Notably, Prime Minister Harris said that his government has always insisted on life first strategy and continue to be guided by the opinion of health professionals and the National Task Force. Moreover, he noted that the SKN government would continuously monitor asses COVID-19 situation over the next two weeks under eased restrictions. Also, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley urged people to follow all COVID-19 related protocols and, with restrictions, run their business too, so that "we can uplift our economy ".
