The most awaited annual St Kitts Music Festival 2024 is all set to commence in Basseterre from June 22 to 30, 2024. The festival will feature a diverse range of musical events for the entire week and indulge some of the greatest musical artists and talents across the island. The first event will commence on the evening of June 22 from 8 PM onwards at Warner Park, St Kitts and will incluse a diverse range of musical genres, including Gospel, Soca, Soul, Jazz, R&B, Blues, Reggae, etc. The festival will also attract thousands of music lovers from the US, Canada, Europe and the neighbouring islands. The St Kitts Tourism and Festival committee released the Festival's official poster on Sunday via their Facebook and Instagram handles, in which they mentioned, "Mark your calendars and spread the word! Join us as we bring together top-notch talent, mesmerizing performances and the vibrant spirit of St. Kitts. Let's make SKMF2024 the best one yet! Who do you want to see?" Meanwhile, the social media handle got filled with countless reactions from the public. The Facebook post got over 300 responses and 250 comments within just two days of launch. The people expressed their excitement and courage for this year's edition of the Festival in the comment section. One user, identified as La Vue De Basseterre, mentioned, "Can we get some more information about the extended days? Early planning is important. Thank you!" Another user, Jennette Davis, noted, "I am always amazed by the artists that the Team works together to bring to St Kitts. I enjoy every moment of St. Kitts Music Festival year after year. I love my country and my people," Several people also appealed to the organizers to bring their favourite artists and bands. A user, Lachelle Lala Francis, said, "Please bring Nicki Minaj." another user noted, "Bring back the Gospel night". The St Kitts Music Festival is a popular music fest held annually in June on the Caribbean islands of St Kitts. The Festival was initially called the 'Shak Shak Festival' and was first held in 1996.
