Notably, the government of St Kitts and Nevis is working in collaboration with the SCASPA to boost the airport’s infrastructure. In December 2023, the government officially opened the new apron and taxiways at the airport, marking its expansion. This project strived to rectify major cracks on the Apron and link commercial taxiways Charlie and Bravo. SCASPA is still elated over the excellent services rendered by Kelly’s Construction in the completion of RLB International Airport Apron Rehabilitation Project. In addition to this, SCASPA also highlighted that the resurfaced Apron would enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the RLB International Airport while making sure that the partners in the airline industry experience a smoother landing. The Authority is committed to elevating its operational standards and look forward to the positive impact this project will have at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and the wider community.
It is to be noted that by effectively addressing the issues related to the apron as well as passenger experience, SCASPA has reiterated its commitment and dedication to provide an enhanced and reliable infrastructure for the airline partners. This will assure seamless operation and top notch experience for the travellers.
