Separate motorbike smashes leave two dead and two injured in Dominica
Grand Bay and Portsmouth residents involved

Two separate serious road accidents occurred in Dominica over the weekend, claiming two lives.
Two other people have been left with injured.
On Friday, 1 December, a motorcyclist was killed when the bike collided with a car in Lalay, Grand Bay at about 11am.
The bike’s rider, Hagley resident Morrison Francis, died as a result of the crash.
His pillion passenger Kenny Henry was rushed to hospital. The extent of his injuries are not clear at this stage.
Another fatal accident occurred yesterday on the Edward Oliver LeBlanc Highway at Colihaut,
At around 3.15am, pillion passenger Kaymia Jones died when motorcycle rider Bertie Jeffers lost control.
Jeffers was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Coroner's inquests will start for both accidents, and Pelham Jno Baptitse – public relations office for Dominica Police Force – said that investigations are still ongoing.
