Police confirm investigation into St Kitts murder attempt
Shooting occurred in Buckley's Estate on Tuesday

St Kitts and Nevis police are investigating an attempt on a man's life in the larger island's Buckley's Estate.
Yesterday morning WIC News reported that gunshots were heard and one person left with wounds on Tuesday night.Police have now confirmed the incident and named the victim as Devon Jeffers, 39. He is also known as Cocksman.
Jeffers was shot while inside a shop playing dominoes.
"While there someone or some persons approached them and opened fire," said a spokesman for the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
"Devon was grazed on one side of his body and received a shot to the other. He was able to make his way to the JNF Hospital where he was treated and is warded in stable condition."
Officers at the scene took a number of pieces of evidence into police custody and conducted several interviews.
