PM Drew meets Waterloo's Regional Councillor Colleen James, lauds her historic achievements
During the meeting, he lauded James for representing the city of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, as she made history in October 2022 by becoming the first Black woman on the Waterloo Regional Council.

She also hailed the Prime Minister for giving her a chance to collaborate and discuss various matters of common interests while boosting ties between both the countries.
This prestigious meeting shows the bridging of cultures and recognition of the contributions of the St Kitts and Nevis diaspora to global communities.Her visit to St Kitts and Nevis also showcases her deep ties with her birth country and her commitment towards being an integral part of the Federation.
