Nevis Mango Festival to feature renowned Chef Shorne and his ‘New Age Caribbean’ dining
From July 4 to 7, Chef Shorne will be showcasing his exclusive and unique skills in Nevis as part of the Nevis Mango Festival.

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Nevis Mango Festival has introduced the renowned Chef Shorne Benjamin and his delicious “new age Caribbean” dining to the shores as part of the 10th edition of this highly anticipated festival.
From July 4 to 7, Chef Shorne will be showcasing his exclusive and unique skills in Nevis as part of the Nevis Mango Festival.
The New York based chef is known for his fusion of local cuisine with global flavours and classic techniques and runs a Caribbean restaurant in the heart of New York. He aimed to bring the New Age Caribbean Cuisine to Brooklyn and final made his dream come true in 2022.
The festival which is being held from July 5 to 7 will feature over 44 varieties of mangoes, all of which are grown on the island.
According to the information, Chef Shorne will be hosting a cooking masterclass at the Botanical Gardens of Nevis on Thursday, July 4. On Saturday, July 6, the chef will be at Supper Club at the Mango Restaurant Four Seasons while on Sunday, he will be hosting a chef competition judge at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park.
While inviting everyone to his classes, the organizers remarked, “Whether you want to improve your culinary skills via his masterclass or simply indulge in some delicious, mango-flavored dining, it’s all here at the 10th sweet year of Nevis Mango Festival!”
The three-day festival will comprise of a number of events and activities with Chef Shorne adding a touch of luxury to the overall event. Born in Saint Lucia, the chef will showcase the Caribbean’s rich culinary heritage while tantalizing the taste buds of food enthusiasts who will be arriving at various events of the mouth watering festival.
While staying in touch with his Caribbean roots, the chef keeps visiting routinely and never miss the chance to participate in food festivals across the region.
He has shown his utmost dedication and commitment towards embracing his culture and traditions which also includes the traditional dishes and blends them with his unique touch, making a whole new dish out of it and serving it to people craving for some Caribbean cuisine.
