Mirielle Blanchard wins crown of Dominica Carnival Princess 2024

Dominica: Mirielle Blanchard, Miss KFC and Cash & Carry proudly clinched the crown of the Dominica Carnival Princess 2024. The winner also secured five other titles during the event after she wowed the judges and the audience with her amazing performance. The 10-year-old also won the People's Choice Award, which was given based on the likes and comments on the contestant's photos on the official page of the Dominica Carnival Princess Show. Her picture got over 1400 likes, 100 comments and 92 shares. [caption id="attachment_67273" align="aligncenter" width="100%"] Carnival Princess during the photoshoot round of the pageant (PC - Facebook)[/caption]Citizens and residents showed their immense love for Blanchard and wanted her to win the pageant, which she did excellently. Meanwhile, Ijnanyah James became the first runner-up and also received the title of Miss Photogenic, Best in Party Dress and Miss Intelligence, and Deanna Jacob became the second Runner-up in the prestigious event and clinched the Best in Costume title.

• Miss Intelligence - Ijnanyah James

• Best Party Dress- Mirielle Blanchard 

A total of eight contestants competed for the title of the Carnival Princess, who represented different schools on the island.
