Mehul Choksi's disappearance was a masterplan to delay extradition to India

Dominica: The suspicious disappearance of Mehul Choksi is being described as a "masterplan" and pre-planned plot of an escape from extradition. Experts believe that Mehul Choksi was awaiting the verdict on his extradition case and next hearing was scheduled in the Antigua court in November, and to delay the hearing, he absconded from the country.

A video surfaced on the internet and being widely popular among people which allegedly exposes the master plan of Indian Fugitive Mehul Choksi. It states that the Crime Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of India stated that even in 2017, Mehul Choksi had prior knowledge about the impending criminal actions from the Indian authorities because he fled India on January 4, 2018, while the first FIR against him was registered in February 2018. The Indian top agency also stated that fearing investigation by Indian agencies, Mehul Choksi got dummy directors shifted to Bangkok. The CBI stated that what occurred in 2018 was planned in 2017 because Choksi had obtained citizenship from Antigua and Barbuda in November 2017 to escape the criminal charges against him. Despite holding an Antiguan passport, Choksi continued travelling on his Indian passport until he reached the Caribbean country. Similarly, it is suspected that what happened in Antigua and Barbuda on May 23, 2021, was planned months ago, as Choksi had prior awareness of the court's judgment. It was likely that Mehul Choksi was going to be repatriated back to India, where he was wanted in a $2 billion fraud. The video alleged that the friends and associates of Mehul Choksi also describe him as an "engineer of masterplans" who barely leaves a flaw or clue behind. The sudden disappearance from Jolly Harbour on May 23, 2021, was also a plan laid out by Mehul Choksi, his wife Priti, Lawyers and his PR agencies.

It is perceived that the plot was not to shift Mehul Choksi from Antigua and Barbuda to some other country but it was planned in order to display him as a victim of crime and injustice. Days after Mehul Choksi was arrested in Dominica, his lawyers and public relation agencies started to play their part. The plan was to allege abduction and injustice to Choksi.

First, the lawyers declared that Mehul Choksi was transported from Antigua and Barbuda on a Calliope of Arne yacht. However, the boat had left the country at 10-11 am on May 23 2021, while his family reported him missing at 5 pm on the same day. Due to the difference in the timings, the story fell apart, soon after the lawyers alleged that some other boat had taken him to Dominica after some men forcibly kidnapped Choksi from Jolly Harbour. The million-dollar lawyers and public relation teams initially succeeded in accusing government's of three different countries of conspiring Choksi's abduction, but the lack of credible evidence backlashed their plan.

Choksi's family later bought the leaders of opposition in Dominica and Antigua and Barbuda to push their narratives in media and parliament.

Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne also stated in the parliament on Tuesday, June 21 2021, that no conclusive evidence proves that Choksi was abducted from Jolly Harbour on May 23, 2021. He also asserted that the boat in question had entered the country legally.

Senior Detectives revealed that as Mehul Choksi faces no financial problem, he is currently residing in a luxury room at the Dominica- China hospital, and once he is released, he would get on a luxury yacht to a location where he can again disappear from the impending criminal charges.

Detectives also said that Babara Jarabica was fortunate to be saved from a man like Choksi, who attempted to sexually molest her. It is often seen that such men add substances into a woman's drink to take advantage of them in an unconscious state. Babara had revealed that Choksi even attempted to kiss her twice in his office in Antigua and Barbuda, but she resisted.

There are still certain questions that remain unexplained by the family and lawyers of Mehul Choksi that if he was abducted, then why the kidnappers left him on a beach in Dominica and why his wife didn't tell police initially that Choksi went to meet a girl. The reason behind the meeting between the Dominican leader of the opposition and Mehul Choksi's brother Chetan Chinu Bhai Choksi also remains unclear. No clarification has come from his side to reveal who is the suspicious person seen in the photos with Mehul Choksi, whom the media claims to be the architect of his escape.

Mehul Chinubhai Choksi is a criminal Indian-born businessman who is required by the Indian judicial officials for criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, fraud and deceit, including transfer of property extortion and money laundering.

He is accused of conspiring with two employees of Punjab National Bank (PNB), India's second-largest state-owned lender, in an alleged US $2 billion fraud.
