The Healthy Caribbean Coalition (HCC) has praised Grenada for its ongoing restriction on sugar items in teaching offices.
At a Post-Cabinet news gathering, Grenada's Health Minister Nickolas Steele said while at a more seasoned age a few propensities are hard to transform, it is simpler to get the young ones to adjust to specific tastes and practices that could bring about more beneficial ways of life.
Pastor Steele said, "We are tormented like other Caribbean nations with non-transmittable illnesses which originate from the maltreatment of sugar, the weight just as heart conditions."
Grenada's legislature will keep on putting pressure on its open mindfulness crusades to advance more beneficial ways of life.
In Barbados, the Minister of Health Lt Col Jeffrey Bostic and his group have named the year 2020 the year to battle against non-transferable maladies.
