On Christmas eve, Opposition leader took it over to the public to make announcements regarding a package of hope, compassion and relief which St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party offers to bring up if elected to government in 2020 general elections.
During his address, Leader of Opposition, Dr Denzil L Douglas sid that the package offered to citizens, aims to ease the burdens of those families that are breaking under a load of inflation and higher cost of living as well as to stimulate small businesses with the creation of a new class of entrepreneurship.
“This is my way of saying “thank you” because “it is all about y’all,” the respected people of St Kitts and Nevis. This is my way of doing my part in bringing joy and peace to the people of St Kitts and Nevis so that you might all abound in hope, opportunity and prosperity, as we face the dawning of a new iconic year, 2020,” said Dr Douglas in his Christmas Message.
Leader of Opposition said the SKN Labour Party extended his devotion towards serving the people of St Kitts and Nevis living in country or foreign. “The NextGen SKN team and I are deeply committed to serving you with excellence and honour; compassion and commitment; competence and effective governance.”
He also mentioned about the teaching of Jesus Christ and his message to the people of living in harmony. He emphasized on that many people living in SKN are facing big problems and requires immediate solutions.
“On behalf of my team and on my own behalf, I wish you all a wonderful, uplifting, and blessed Christmas 2019! May we have a wonderful and peaceful Carnival 2019-2020. May the New Year bring the hope, change and relief that we all desire and deserve,” Dr Douglas asserted.
