Dominica: Australia based renowned travel publication Lonely Planet has ranked Dominica as the #1 best place to visit in April 2024. The magazine noted that the island is not like other Caribbean nations and is an ideal place for vacation during this season.
Lonely Planet said that month of April brings a seasonal shift across the world which makes it an ideal time of the year for exploring ancient wonders.
While featuring Dominica at the first place, the magazine said it boasts black sand, rampant jungle and a relative dearth of amazing resorts. It added that the country is a tropical paradise and is a great place for hikes which is unusual for the rest of the region.
The publication highlighted the mesmerising beauty of Dominica and said that is amazing for spotting huge marine creatures because of the presence of over 200 sperm whales and porpoises and dolphins year round.
