Canefield resident remains in hospital
A Canefield man is recovering in hospital after being shot yesterday morning.
Lee Sylvester, 36, was shot in the abdomen just before 8.15am. He was then taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital in the capital, Roseau.
There has been no additional information regarding Sylvester's condition.
The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force have confirmed to WIC News that officers are looking for one man in connection with the incident.Police spokesman Pelham Jno Baptise said that the suspect is also a Canefield resident.
“Anyone with information which can assist the police with the investigations can contact the Criminal Investigations Department at telephone numbers 2665164 2665165 and 2665199, or Crime Stroppers Dominica at telephone number 1 800 8477," said Baptiste.
