Cayman confirms another positive COVID-19 case

The Cayman Islands has confirmed new COVID-19 case, bringing the country's total to 54 as of 13th April afternoon.
According to Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, 44 tests were returned on Monday with one positive result.
Dr Lee said the patient has a travel history and had immediately self-quarantined upon return.
Dr Lee said tracing that was being done on six positive cases which were returned on Saturday as there was danger of regional transmission.
Giving a summary of the cases, Dr Lee said there were six recovered patients, 16 symptomatic patients and 20 asymptomatic patients.
Six of the patients were listed as clinically recovered, which one clinically improved patient in Cayman Brac.
Dr Lee said 67 people were in isolation up to April 13, 2020, with five patients at a hospital, in age from 48 to 68 years.
Dr Lee said one person was walked into a government quarantine facility after not obeying quarantine ordinances.
He also added that two people returned to Cayman via air ambulance. They were not sick but returned from Florida. These individuals are now isolating at the government facility.
The country has 526 negative results, with 26 negative results in Little Cayman and Cayman Brac.
