Barbados hits 63 COVID-19 cases

Barbados has 63 confirmed cases of COVID-19. And on Tuesday morning, the island's third COVID19 positive patient passed away. He was a 95-year-old man.

Head of the Infection Prevention and Control/Infectious Diseases Programs at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Dr Corey Forde said: "He provided to us pretty late and had been extremely ill as much as this factor." He died at 3 am.

Through contact tracing, the deceased turned into traced back to his daughter, who had a travel record to the USA.

"She is also now in isolation. She is our one admission for the day a this, and she's quite adequately at this point in the much less high-dependency vicinity of the isolation."
