Barbados: Barbados will spend for its students to take a review of their Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) grades, says Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.

She announced while addressing at a Barbados Labour Party (BLP) St George North by-election rally in Market Hill, St George, on Sunday night, supplementing that Barbadians do not beg.

For many weeks students in Barbados joined others over the region opposing their bad CXC results which, amongst other matters, took some of them out of the running for prestigious scholarships or placings at their desired university.

In Barbados, parents, students and followers protested outside the CXC office in Bridgetown and sent messages to related bodies seeking for a resolution.
