'ATM fraudster' caught by Antigua police officers
Suspect identified as Bulgarian male
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda have managed to nab a suspected fraudster soon after launching an appeal to discover his identity.
WIC News reported yesterday how police needed help finding the man, and that they only had a grainy image to go on.He has now been named as Martin Demitrov, a Bulgarian national, and is in police custody.
It is alleged that he was seen tampering with two ATM at different locations on Antigua last Friday evening.
He was appended on Monday in Montserrat and brought back to Antigua aboard a ferry around 8am this morning.
Police have said he is "quite likely to be charged with larceny, among other offences."
