Evacuation flights from Kabul airport resumes after deadly bombing

After the deadly bombings that moved Afghanistan on Thursday, evacuation flights resumed on Friday afternoon. As per reports, the death toll reached 110, including 13- US soldiers and 28 Taliban fighters.
International media organizations reported that several flights were seen taking off from the Kabul Airport on Friday afternoon. The number of aeroplanes increased rapidly after the deadly attacks.
ISIL (ISIS) offshoot in Afghanistan, The Islamic State in Khorasan Province, ISKP (ISIS-K), claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks. The terror groups said its suicide bombers singled out “translators and partners of the American army.
The United States, tributing its soldiers, raised the flag at half-mast. President Joe Biden said the US would retaliate and make the terror groups pay for it. He also said that US forces are coordinated with the Taliban to help bring evacuees to the airport.

After the Taliban defeated their regions, thousands of Afghan families have been camping in excessive heat at a Kabul park. They are pleading for food and shelter as a humane disaster opens in the war-torn country.
Who is ISIL-K?
The ISIL-K took responsibility of the heinous attack. It is known as an offshoot of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS or Daesh) that was attempting to install a new reign in Iraq and Syria.
It was formed in 2014 by some radical fighters of the Pakistani Taliban and some fighters from Afghanistan. They together vowed allegiance to the late ISIL leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The terror organization has been responsible for carrying out some of the worse attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan; they killed people at public squares, mosques and even attacked hospitals.
The situation in Afghanistan continues to remain tense; thousands of people are desperate to leave their country, fearing the Taliban regime. People are beginning officials to take them out of the country.
