Joe Biden demands Trump to end the siege, says enough is enough

Washington, United States: President-elect Joe Biden went live and demanded Donald Trump to end the siege of the demonstrations that struck on the Capitol Building on Wednesday.

Joe Biden stated, " I demand President Donald Trump end the siege."

While exiting the stage, Biden also stated: Enough is Enough!

Protestors entered the US capital building after conducting demonstrations, as indicated by US President Donald Trump. Congress was counting votes, and the process was in place to hand over the power.

One woman was also shot during the chaos, who was later declared dead at a local hospital.

Soon after the occurrence, a curfew was imposed in Washington, DC, and congress started its proceedings hours after the incident.

"This is the first time something happened after 1800; it was a violent mob," stated Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal.

Congresswoman stated that regardless of the violent mob incident, the power will be transferred and Joe Biden will be the President, and Kamala Harris will be the Vice-President of the United States.

Jayapal assured people that the country would obey its constitutional duties, and the democratic process will continue.

Several world leaders have come forward to pass remarks on the incident.

HOW WORLD LEADERS REACTED

French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, "We believe in democracy. #WeAreOne"

Macron gave a full-televised statement on the incident and referred to the incident as an attack on the temple of the US democratic system.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned the act and tweeted, "Disgraceful scenes in U.S. Congress. The United States stands for democracy around the world, and it is now important that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power." Indian Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Distressed to see news about rioting and violence in Washington DC. The orderly and peaceful transfer of power must continue. The democratic process cannot be allowed to be subverted through unlawful protests."
