St Kitts & Nevis reports 77.1% vaccination among adults.
A total of 77.1 percent of the total adult population received the second jab of the vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 infection in St Kitts and Nevis. On Monday, February 21, 2022, the vaccination report of the health ministry has informed that 70 percent of the total adult population have been immunised in the country.

Out of the total vaccination, 82.5 percent have been vaccinated with the first dose against the mutant, while the rate of the people with the booster dose stands at 9.1 percent.

As per the vaccination statistics among children aged between 12-17 years, the health ministry stated that 18.4 percent of the child population had received the first dose of the vaccine; on the other hand, 16.7 percent of children have been administered the second dose of the vaccine.

Further, a total of 57,425 people been immunised against the novel coronavirus since the vaccination drive has started in St Kitts and Nevis; out of them, 26,282 people are fully vaccinated.

In St Kitts, the health ministry has administered 43,644 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine so far, while the Nevis population has received a total of 13,781 doses.

As per the health ministry, a total of 3,006 people have also been vaccinated with booster shots against the COVID-19 in the twin-island Federation.

St Kitts and Nevis have not reported any additional cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours on February 21, 2022; on the other hand, a total of seven people have recovered from the COVID-19 infection.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, the country has reported 5,523 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 infection. The toll of fatalities stands at 42 so far.

The Federation still has 25 active cases, out of which, 21 people are from St Kitts, and four from Nevis.

The Health Ministry further reported that a total of 5,456 people recovered from COVID-19 so far. Out of the recoveries, a total of 4,632 people have been recovered in St Kitts, while 824 people recovered in Nevis.
