It is the international airport what now we need in Dominica,” said PM Skerrit.

He said it is very hard to leave or shift your home after you have been living there for generations. “I do not want to take your land when I do not have money to pay you, our government will pay on the same day we purchase your land to build an international airport.”

He added that the government has already identified the lands owned by the government in case if someone wants and exchange of the land in this scenario. We are also building homes for the people who will sell their land to the government for the airport which will be more resilient, comfortable and well-built, which certainly will raise the standard of living in Wesley constituency.

Along with that Skerrit said “Every home that we have fixed outside of the assistance received by NGOs, came from the government of Dominica, every bridge that we have fixed, every home that we have assisted, every school we have fixed, funds came from the government of Dominica utilizing the Citizenship by Investment Programme.”
