Dominica to welcome over 27,000 cruise passengers this week

January 2024 is marking as an excellent year for Dominica in terms of tourism. The island is once again receiving 12 cruise calls from January 29 to February 4, 2024, bringing over 27000 passengers.

According to the updates by the Ministry of Tourism of Dominica, the island will welcome three cruises on Monday (today).

While, MV Aidadiva will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and has a passenger capacity of 3256, the MSC Seaside will dock at the Woodbridge Bay Berth and boasts a capacity of 5179 passengers. Meanwhile, a smaller cruise, Le Bellot, with a passenger capacity of 184, will dock at Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth.

On 30 January, 2023 the MV Marella Discovery will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and is expected to bring around 2124 passengers to the island's shores.

While, on January 31, only one cruise will come to the island i.e. MV Aidamar and it will also dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth. The ship boasts a capacity of 3256 passengers.

Meanwhile, on the first day of February, three cruises will come to the island, docking at different ports. MV Aurora will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and will bring around 1824 passengers. Meanwhile, MV Mein Schiff 4 will dock at Woodbridge Bay and will bring over 2500 passengers, and MV Seabourn Ovation will dock at ANCH.

On February 2 and 4, two cruises will each arrive on the island, bringing several passengers.
