SVG Air to fly daily from St Vincent to Grenada amid 50th independence celebrations

The Tourism Authority of Grenada announced the additional flights of SVG Air ahead of the country's 50 years of independence celebration. The island will celebrate its independence on February 7, 2024, and is anticipating the diaspora to visit during this period.
These additional flights will ease the Grenadians living in St Vincent and the Grenadines to travel to the country and join the celebrations.
According to the information, the SVG Air will fly from St Vincent to Grenada via Carriacou. The airline is offering seven times weekly services.
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the airline will fly one time while on Friday and Saturday it will fly four times a day and on Sunday the airline will fly two times a day. These daily flights will ease the travellers to travel to and from Grenada.
While announcing the flight schedule, Pure Grenada said, "Do not miss out on celebrating our 50th Anniversary of Independence in February 2024 with enhanced connectivity to the Spice Island of Grenada! It further asked to book their flights at the earliest by visiting puregrenada.com,".
On the other hand, individuals spread all across the world can also join the festivities by travelling on other airlines, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Air Canada, Caribbean Airlines, InterCaribbean Airways, American Airlines and JetBlue Airways.

Notably, JetBlue has also recently introduced a non-stop weekly service from Boston in November 2023.
The airline provides its services on Saturday from Boston to Grenada, with the departure time being 8 am and the arrival time being 12:48 pm. The return flight departs Grenada at 1:22 pm and arrives in Boston at 5:38 pm.
The celebrations to commemorate the 50th independence have already begun in the island nation and will continue till February 9, with the grand celebration taking place on February 7. People are coming out on the streets in colourful attires showcasing the true culture of Grenadians.
