Marigot has some of the most beautiful landscapes in Saint Lucia: Dr Ernest Hilaire

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia, Dr Ernest Hilaire recently visited the Marigot Bay and noted that it has some of the most beautiful landscapes in Saint Lucia.

The bay is a stunning natural harbour with deep crystal blue water surrounded by densely forested hills. This tranquil harbour is rich in history and is a popular destination for yachts.

Minister Hilaire also shared a glimpse of himself standing in Marigot, which is located in the south side of Castries.

Marigot Bay is the perfect setting for a luxurious vacation in the Caribbean and is home to Saint Lucia's most desirable marina. Minister Hilaire consistently visits the location as he finds it very peaceful.

He also hosts several parties for his constituents in that constituency, including the annual Children's Christmas Party.

As the Minister shared the glimpse of him in Marigot and expressed his views regarding the constituency, several citizens and residents of Saint Lucia agreed with him with some saying that they love it.

"My favourite place in St Lucia. Built a house there in 1995. Honeymooned there in 2017," wrote a user named Augy Jones, while a Saint Lucian nurse named Nettie said, "Indeed. I love Marigot Bay."

Notably, the Marigot Bay in Saint Lucia boasts some of the most mesmerising views and adventures including the Dive Fair Helen, Shashamane Experience, Aquarius Watersports, Bateau Mygo Sail Saint Lucia and Le Spa Marigot.

The place is also known as the yachtsman's haven as this picturesque bay has been used for several background shots in many Hollywood films such as Fire Power and Dr Doolittle.

It is also a historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the British Navies and the French and is located on the western coast of Saint Lucia.

"The most beautiful Bay in the Caribbean"- That's how author James A Michener once expressed his love for and described this beautiful destination.
