British Virgin Islands launches BVI Staycation 2024, featuring blend of culture and relaxation

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and Film Commission expressed its excitement in announcing the launch of BVI Staycation 2024. This is an annual marketing program which invites locals and regional visitors to enjoy various accommodations and tourism amenities within the territory.
This year, the Staycation program is coinciding with the 70th Emancipation Festival which runs from June 15 to August 31, 2024. It promises a unique mixture of vibrant festivities and cultural heritage. This year's program is being held under the theme 'A Festival Celebration for 2024 Staycation'. It encourages residents, regional friends from the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, St Maarten and the BVI Diaspora to immerse themselves in the culture and beauty of the British Virgin Islands. The Regional Marketing Manager of the BVI, RaeNisia Scatliffe outlined that this unique mixture of local heritage, vibrant festivities, amazing stays as well as adventures offers an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike. It will also showcase the best of the British Virgin Islands.According to the information, the 2024 Staycation program boasts 34 participating partners, offering a wide range of experiences across the five categories including restaurants, spas, cultural experiences, adventures and car rentals.
