All ships scheduled for Caribbean 2023 cancelled by Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line reportedly cancelled all its cruises planned for the Caribbean 2023. As per information, the primary cause is ship redeployment.  All sailings from December 30, 2022, to February 13, 2023; February 20, 2023, to April 14, 2023; and May 29, 2023, to December 29, 2023, have been cancelled, according to a statement from the firm. According to the company's website, the ship will still sail three three-day weekend voyages from Miami to the Bahamas in 2023, sailing on February 17, May 5, and May 26. Norwegian confirmed that all passengers booked on the cancelled sailings would receive a full refund as well as a bonus Future Cruise Certificate. The cruise ship stated that all the passengers would be getting a full refund and additional Future Cruise Certificate, the cruise liner added. What is ship redeployment? A ship redeployment occurs when a scheduled voyage's ship or itinerary is changed. Redeployments are fairly regular, and they can occur for a variety of reasons, including the cancellation of a cruise in order to redeploy a ship elsewhere.  A new Norwegian Cruise Line ship will make its debut next year, and pictures released lately show a tour of the vessel. The Norwegian Viva is now being built in Marghera, Italy, by the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for a maiden voyage in June 2023. Rather than designing the ship from the ground up, Norwegian took inspiration from its sister ship, the Norwegian Prima. The new cruise liner, like the Norwegian Prima, will have a three-story racetrack, infinity pools, and a glass bridge that spans the water.
