St Kitts and Nevis: Concerned Citizens Movement Women's wing shared the profile of Vikelia Fyfield who is Women’s Month Awardee.

Vikelia Fyfield hails from the Newcastle Area and has always been in church since birth. It was not until her adult life in 2013 that she made a commitment to fully surrender her life to Jesus Christ under the Pastoral leadership of Rev Ron Daniel.

Since then she has been very involved in church and has served in various roles. These include Usher, Worship Leader, Women's President, Secretary of the Local.Church Board and Treasurer of the Local Church board inter alia. Vikelia is always in church and both her husband Akbar Fyfield and herself are active in the work of the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Newcastle. Recently it gave her great joy when her eldest son Ajorn also followed the Lord in water baptism.

For Vikelia the work of God is not a chore but a calling and it is one she is desperate to fulfill. Despite her leadership roles in the church Vikelia believes there is no job too small for her and is often involved in cleaning the church and helping her husband with the maintenance and upkeep of the church. Vikelia's life experiences have taught her that she is absolutely nothing without God and realises daily that her life would not be the same if God were not in it.

She is committed to doing all she can as a way of thanking God for his undeserved blessings in her life.

Vikelias favorite scripture is Psalms 121 "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord who makes heaven and earth.". This is because she believes that irrespective of the situation, she can always look to God for help.

Vikelia is happily married to her one true love Akbar Fyfield and together, they have three young boys, Ajorn, Ajonaih and Ayden Fyfield. She is presently employed as Administrative Assistant/Sales Representative at Hamoron Services Ltd - A leading local Real Estate Company on the island.

Among her hobbies Vikelia enjoys singing gospel music and spending quality time with her family.

She encourages everyone who has not done so to see her life as an example of how Jesus Christ can change, transform and improve a life that is surrendered to him.
