The counsellor and some other residents of Gran Couva patched that potholes in the community in the early hours of Sunday morning. Baliram said he wouldn't stop until all roads of the community are safe for the residents.
Baliram said as the councillor, he pledges his unwavering support to the burgesses and will continue to follow the motto of his Political Leader, Mrs Kamla Persad -Bissesar, "Serve the people, serve the people, serve the people.""We will continue this project until the roadways are safe again for their daily traversal," noted Councillor Baliram.
The filling of these potholes helps the need to constantly being forced to continuously dodge the potholes while driving. As per Baliram, the initiative will further reduce the likelihood of any future accidents and, of course, save on the maintenance of the burgesses vehicles.
"I take this opportunity to thank all volunteers for their time and efforts and a heartfelt thanks and recognition to the persons who donated the material, which made this initiative successful," noted Baliram on Facebook.
