The leaders were waiting for a different result, as per Richards.
He outlined, “We had hoped for different results having shared with the cogent and compelling legal advice to the contrary received from English Queen’s Counsel.”
The Governor-General of St Kitts and Nevis - Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, shared a response to the six MPs after they wrote a letter against the Prime Minister and stated that they had lost confidence in him.
The Minister of PAM further exclaimed that the MPs of PAM and CCM had filed a No-Confidence Motion against PM Dr Timothy Harris in the Parliament, which is expected to be debated as well as passed shortly.
The Deputy PM said, “We reiterate that a Prime Minister in our democracy is never elected. He or she is always selected by the majority of elected members of Parliament, and his or her office and legitimacy depend on the ongoing support of that majority.”
