Saint Lucia Fuel Prices: Cooking Gas increased; Diesel, Gasoline remain unchanged
According to the information, the price of 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36kg) has increased from $264.84 to $274.38 per cylinder, while the cost of Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has increased from $2.52 per pound to $2.61 per pound.

The Government of Saint Lucia has announced changes in the retail price of the LPG 100 lb cylinder and Bulk (Wholesale) LPG, as per the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism.
According to the information, the price of a 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36kg) has increased from $264.84 to $274.38 per cylinder, while the cost of Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has risen from $2.52 per pound to $2.61 per pound. While announcing these changes in prices of fuel products, the Government announced that in keeping with changes in international oil prices, these changes are being made. In addition to this, the Government also announced that the retail price of Diesel, Gasoline, and Kerosene, as well as the LPG 20 lb and 22 lb cylinders remains unchanged. These price changes came into effect from Monday, February 12, 2024.According to the Government of Saint Lucia, the new prices of the fuel products are as follows:
The cost of Gasoline remains unchanged at $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon. The price of Diesel remains unchanged at $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon. The price of Kerosene remains unchanged at $2.58 per litre or $11.72 per gallon. The cost of the 20 lb Cylinder (9.07kg) is being subsidized at $18.88 per cylinder and the 22 lb cylinder (9.98kg) is being subsidized at $20.76 per cylinder. The cost of 20-pound cylinder (9.07 kg) remains the same at $36.00 per cylinder. The price of 22 Pound Cylinder (9.98 kg) remains constant at $39.60 per cylinder. The price of a 100-pound cylinder (45.36kg) rose from $264.84 to $274.38 per cylinder. The price of Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has increased from $2.52 per pound to $2.61 per pound.The government also announced that the increase in prices is just to keep up with the international oil prices, and the new prices will be announced on March 12, 2024.
