Rihanna calls for end to gun violence after cousin’s murder
Star had spent Christmas with her family

Barbadian poster Rihanna has called for an to gun violence after her cousin was shot dead on Boxing Day.
Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21, was walking through the Eden Lodge area of St Michael's when he was killed at about 7pm.
Sources have confirmed tat multpiple shots were fired before the killer fled the scene.
Taking to Instagram, Rihanna shared her shock and paid tribute to a family member she had just spend Christmas with.
“RIP cousin... can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms!”, she captioned the image.
She followed her message with the hashtag #endgunviolence.
Rhianna later added a memorial panel to her Instagram Stories feature, with a black background adding his username.
WIC News understands that police are yet to have a suspect in the killing but have asked anyone with information to come forward.The majority of recent murders on the island have been gun-related.
