PM Drew meets Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir for diplomatic talks
During the meeting, PM Drew was able to secure scholarships for the students to study in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Prime Minister also expressed that St Kitts and Nevis is grateful for the collaboration with Saudi Arabia towards the transformation of the energy sector in the name of sustainability, climate resilience and economic transformation.

Minister Al-Jubeir also praised Prime Minister Drew’s leadership on the global stage, and pledged Saudi Arabia’s support for the existing partnership between the two countries, with a vision for mutual investment opportunities to benefit both societies.
In addition to this, the bilateral discussions also focused on boosting diplomatic ties between both the countries with PM Drew indicating that the new relationship with Saudi Arabia will open many opportunities.He said that one such opportunity is in the area of energy, as the Federation is seeking to transform its energy sector in the name of sustainability, climate and economic transformation.
Such meetings showcase the dedication of PM Drew towards increasing international relationships with major countries around the world. The securing of scholarships from the Government of Saudi Arabia is a huge milestone and demonstrates the government’s trust towards St Kitts and Nevis and their willingness to help the people of the Federation.The Prime Minister is also looking forward to more such meetings which will bolster diplomatic ties and will increase the country’s name on international platforms.
