Dominica to complete construction on several projects by the end of 2020: PM Roosevelt Skerrit
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit stated that there are several constructions to be completed by the end of December.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit stated in his Anou Palay that this week is highly significant as the government moves ahead to work on several projects including the highly anticipated International Airport Project.
Prime Minister stated that the completed health centres of several areas are now preparing for furnishing and types of equipment. He added the commissioning of the health centres in Vielle Case, Portsmouth, Maho, Marigot and Bellevue Chopin would be started by the Health Ministry very soon.
He added that the Wesley health centre would be completed along with the most awaited in Colihaut. Prime Minister stated that the work on these health centres would be completed by the end of 2020.
Furthermore, he stated that the work on Soufriere and New Town health centres is likely to begin.
As per the Prime Minister, the government have also decided to construct a new school in Maho. "I have seen the draft designs for the school, and I hope that we can move to finalise it because I would like the school to be ready for September 2021," added Prime Minister Dr Skerrit.
Prime Minister noted that the government of the People's Republic of China would be sending their representatives for construction for four schools, however, due to the challenges of coronavirus lockdowns at some of the airports it has become difficult to travel as every single port require different protocols even if you are in transit.
'We have been in communications with the government of the People's Republic of China and five schools that they will be sending a team here to do further work." added Dr Skerrit.
"I am hoping that we can complete the indoor Basketball court in Massacre in sometimes in December," added Dr Skerrit.
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit stated that there are several constructions to be completed by the end of December and there are a number of things happening in the country and government continues to move its efforts for more development.
