Seven homes completely burnt down by fires in Belize

Belize: In a tragic incident, approximately thirteen children and ten adults are left with only the clothes on their backs after a fire in Red Bank Village, Stann Creek completely destroyed their homes in Belize.

According to reports, a total of seven thatch structures that housed six families were burnt to the ground earlier today.Local media reached out with one of the victims Marcus Ax who stated that the fire started in one of the homes and quickly grew into an inferno that engulfed the other structures in the yard.According to Ax, who is a worker at a Banana Farm in the village, the damages total an estimated twenty-five thousand dollars.
