PM Allen Chastanet travels to the US to meet cruise-industry officials
Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet announced that he would be travelling to the United States of America for a four-day visit.

Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet announced that he would be travelling to the United States of America for a four-day visit, while Minister Ezechiel Joseph would be the acting PM.
Ezechiel Joseph is St Lucia's Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Co-operatives.
The St Lucian Prime Minister stated that during his four-day visit to the United States, he would also be meeting cruise-industry experts in Miami, Florida.The trip will start from May 5th and remain till May 8th 2021. He stated that St Lucia, like the wider Caribbean region, is anticipated for the opening of the cruise industry, which is expected to start in July 2021.Prime Minister also stated that he would be attending CARICOM discussions as the co-chair.
“As Saint Lucia and the region plans for the re-commencement of the Cruise Sector, predicted in July of 2021, I will not only be representing Saint Lucia but also CARICOM as the co-chair on this issue”, declared Prime Minister Allen Chastanet.
Prime Minister is also fully vaccinated against the coronavirus as he recently received his second dose of the Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine.
