Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival all set to return on March 2

The Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival is all set to brew its magic on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the New Castle Parade Grounds in the hills of St. Andrew.
Through a Facebook post, Prime Minister Andrew Holness extended an invitation to the citizens and residents to join this unique and exciting event. He said, "Save the date, coffee lovers! We are thrilled to announce that the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival is set to make a comeback." PM Holness asked everyone to mark their calendar because a flavourful journey awaits amidst the stunning mountains and added, "Get ready to indulge in the ultimate celebration of Jamaica Blue Mount in Coffee!"[embed]https://twitter.com/AndrewHolnessJM/status/1751409232203637043[/embed]
This is the 7th edition of the annual festival and the festival remains a staple in Jamaica's tourism, and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing coffee farmers.
The Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival features one-of-a-kind experiences which celebrate coffee, culture, and community. It showcases a range of coffee purveyors, local manufacturers, artisans, food tastings, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, baristas, and mixologists.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozPFKiRFoeI[/embed]
During the event, visitors can indulge in different flavours of Coffee and can also purchase Coffee infused products at highly discounted prizes.
In addition to this, the festival is a must for coffee lovers as they can get a taste of several coffee-infused pastries and beverages made with Coffee grown in the Blue Mountains. People can also get the chance to indulge in several competitions and win exciting prizes.

Notably, Jamaica is one of the world's top coffee exporters, and the quality of the Coffee grown here in the mountains is unmatched.
The Caribbean's only coffee festival was conceptualised in 2018 in Jamaica as a major initiative of the Gastronomy Network of the Tourism Linkages Network which is a division of the TEF - Tourism Enhancement Fund. With support from private and public sector partners, the festival became a highly anticipated event on the local calendar.
