NEVLEC issues advisory for upcoming outrage for Brown Hill and Lampur Hill areas
The Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC) has issued an advisory regarding a scheduled power outage to facilitate line relocation in brown Hill and Lampur Hill areas of the Island.
According to the advisory power outage will be on Wednesday, August 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate the relocation of lines. It has stated that Brown Hill, Lampur Hill and areas in close proximity will be affected by the power outage.
Apologising for the inconveniences that may be caused by these outages, NEVLEC reminds customers that in each case service may be delayed to later than the time specified.
NEVLEC reminded people that their $10 Solid Waste Disposal Levy is compulsory. "To all our valued customers, please take every precaution to safeguard electrical equipment at all times of interruption and restoration to the electrical supply."
