Grenada's Spicemas Carnival 2024 to return from April 29: Know schedule
Grenada: The Spicemas Corporation has unveiled the official calendar of the highly anticipated National Spicemas Carnival 2024 on Monday.
Spicemas Carnival Grenada[/caption]It plays a crucial role in enlightening the nation's vibrant, rich cultural heritage and attracting many locals and tourists by creating a truly unforgettable experience for all.This Caribbean Carnival occurs every year in August and presents the most standout experiences. Grenada's Jab Jab, known for serving as the most impressive and iconic experience, features masqueraders covered in black oil or charcoal wearing two-horned helmets and carrying chains in their mouths.As the Carnival sets on, A large group of these masqueraders are seen on Carnival's Monday in the early morning street parade called J’ouvert. In the Monday Night Mas, these masqueraders light up the night skies with glowsticks and colourful t-shirts and dance to the music provided by huge DJ trucks.
