Exciting schedule for Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival unveiled, know here

Saint Lucia is all set to host the highly anticipated Jazz & Arts Festival from April 30 to May 12, comprising of exciting events throughout two weeks. The organisers have unveiled the schedule of events which ranges from the thrilling opening night to the calming World Beats.
The festival is anticipated to welcome a huge number of visitors from across the region, giving a huge boost to the local economy.
The organisers are inviting everyone from across the region to purchase the early bird tickets for the most exciting music festival of the Caribbean. People can experience electrifying performances from legendary artists including Air Supply Music, Babyface, Davido, Joeboy, Voice, Chlöe Bailey, Jon Secada, Samara Joy, John Patitucci, Donnie McClurkin, Beres Hammond, Machel Montano, Teejay and more.The schedule of events from April 30 to May 12 for the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival is as follows:
April 30 – Opening Night May 7 – Pure Jazz with Elements of the Arts May 8 – Kingdom Gospel Night May 9 – Pure Jazz, Ladies in Concert May 10 – Caribbean Fusion May 11 – World Beats May 12 – The Ultimate CelebrationOn the opening night of the festival on Tuesday, April 30, visitors can groove to the beats of TeeJay, Romain Virgo and Saint Lucian All Stars. The tickets for the event costs at US$30/EC$80 and it will be held at the Mindoo Philip Park from 8 pm onwards.
While inviting everyone to the night, the organisers remarked, “Get ready to groove because the Opening Night of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival is just around the corner! Are you excited to soak in the electrifying vibes, of Voice, Romain Virgo, Teejay and the Saint Lucian All Stars cast.” They also asked everyone to get their tickets now from www.saintluciajazzandartsfestival.com. Also, on May 5, a fringe event will take place as part of the festival named ‘Soufriere Jazz – The Ultimate Experience’. The event is more than just the music, it is a community affair. People can expect tranquil environment, food, the Sulphur Springs, waterfall beaches and much more. During the event, entertainment will be provided by Tarrus Riley, Nailah Blackman, Skinny Fabulous, Teddyson John, Ricky T, Rob Zii & Phyness, DYP, Donaton, Future lights and Selwyna.On Tuesday, May 7, people will get to experience the ultimate ‘Pure Jazz’ which will be held at the Pavilion on the Ramp, Rodney Bay from 7 30 pm onwards. John Patitucci, Allison Marquis and CDF Art Component will be performing on this day and tickets are priced at US$75/EC$200.
Meanwhile, at Kingdom Night on Wednesday, May 8, several exceptional musicians will take the stage on fire. Donnie Mcclurkin, Carlene Davis, Marvia Providence, Nigela St Clair-Daniel, Tabitha C Prospere, Urban Praise and Adoration and Praise will be performing at the event being held at the Pigeon Island National Landmark from 7 30 pm onwards. The tickets for the same cost at US$55/EC$150.
People can also get a chance to dive into the rhythm of the Caribbean and experience the ultimate fusion of Soca, Zouk and a vibrant tapestry of musical genres which will make their heart dance at the ‘Caribbean Fusion’ on Friday, May 10. Visitors will be delighted to the beats of Machel Montano, Beres Hammond, Ezra D’Fun Machine, Meshach and Invasion Band.
On Saturday, May 11, the World Beats event will be held during which Davido, JoeBoy, Chloe Bailey, Jon Secada, Vayb Band, DYP and Arthur Allain will be performing. The event will be held at 4 pm at the Pigeon Island National Landmark with tickets costing at USD$100/EC$270.
All in all, the festival will be much more exciting this time with the introduction of so many artists from around the Caribbean region.
