Dominica to welcome 8 cruises this week, bringing over 15000 passengers

The Commonwealth of Dominica is all set to welcome 8 cruises this week, bringing over 15000 passengers from across the world. These cruises will dock at different ports of the country from March 11 to 16, 2024.

Today, the island will welcome MSC Seaside which boasts a passenger capacity of 5429 passengers and will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth. Tomorrow, two cruises will arrive on the island namely MV Marella Discovery and MV Zaandam which will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and Woodbridge Bay respectively. The cruises will bring over 3200 cruise passengers on a single day as the Discovery can carry 2124 while the Zaandam carries 1432 passengers.

Meanwhile, on March 13, a smaller vessel SY Sea Cloud will make a cruise call to the island with 94 passengers and will dock at the Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth.

On March 14, MV Mein Schiff 4 and MV Seabourn Ovation will arrive with 2506 and 600 passengers docking at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and the Woodbridge Bay Berth. MV Celebrity Silhouette will make call to Dominica on March 15 and SY Sea Cloud II will arrive the following day.
