Barbados confirms first two COVID-19 cases

Barbados has announced its initial two positive cases of COVID-19.

Testing positive is a 48-year-old guest to the island and a 39-year-old Barbadian. Both have a movement history associated with the US.

After encountering a few side effects, they have attributed to the clinical group at the Ministry of Health and Wellness for additional assessment.

As per the Health Minister, Lt Col Jeffrey Bostic, the positive test outcomes were gotten on Tuesday morning.

"They will stay in seclusion until they recoup," he said.

He asked Barbadians to comprehend that there is no requirement for alarm. "This is the ideal opportunity for cautiousness and being our siblings' guardians".

He said that the correspondence lines are open and updates will come at all times.

"The mission currently is to forestall the spread of this coronavirus illness 2019," he included.

Fourteen people were tried for COVID-19. The other 12 were negative.
