68-year-old Italian tourist drowns in Antigua

As per reports, a 68-year-old female tourist from Italy drowned in Antigua on Saturday morning. The woman was on the island to enjoy a vacation. She was enjoying her day at the beach when the incident happened.

It occurred off one of the country's beaches in the south of the island. The preliminary information showed that the tourist got into problems at the beach and drowned before any help could reach.

The police failed to immediately clear if she was a part of cruise-ship passengers taking a tour of the island.
