13 children die in stampede at primary school in western Kenya
A Kenyan police official says 13 youngsters have passed on in a rush at a grade school in the nation's western territory after they were let out to return home.
More than 20 different understudies were harmed during the Monday evening occurrence, said David Kabena, the police responsible for Kakamega focal territory.
The previous executive Raila Odinga remarked on the catastrophe.
"My sincere sympathies to guardians that have lost friends and family in the appalling and deplorable catastrophe at Kakamega Primary School. I wish a brisk recuperation to the harmed youngsters and implore that God award solidarity to the influenced families," said Odinga on Twitter.
