Together with Minister Kenson Casimir, the deputy prime minister spoke to Cricket West Indies about the England Tour of the West Indies. He said more details would follow.
"For now, we are not happy with what is on offer, and we made that clear to CWI and the local Cricket Association," stated Hilaire

Hilaire said he also discussed the recovery of the industry under the COVID pandemic.
On the same afternoon, Deputy Prime Minister had a marathon session with over three separate consultations covering four sectors - wedding planners, photographers, destination management companies and hoteliers.
"The re-education continues. I truly love these engagements as it provides opportunities for the exchange of views. Of course, as is natural, some participants rather share their views after the meetings and in different groups and gatherings." stated Hilaire.
On Wednesday, Hilaire visited his Castries South Constituency and had Constituency Executive meeting to plan the Christmas programme.Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism presented to the Parliamentary Representative for Anse La Raye/Canaries on tourism projects being implemented and what is being proposed.
"It is a chance for the villages to become a vital part of our tourism offerings and for us to build on what was started and elevate their socio-economic standing," said Hilaire.
Hilaire said visiting his constituency, and other parts of the country for work keeps him grounded and connected.
